Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the learning and development calendar and associated awareness months

  • Assist managers and staff to analyse learning and capability needs to identify the mix of knowledge and skills required to provide quality service and ensure desired outcomes are achieved 

  • Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, and consultation with managers.

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive training strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals.

  • Design and implement innovative learning and development programs.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using metrics and feedback.

  • Partner with department heads to identify and address specific skill gaps.

  • Manage external training vendors and consultants.

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in capability development.
