A Structural Draftsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and blueprints for construction projects, focusing on structural elements such as beams, columns, and foundations. They work closely with engineers and architects to prepare accurate plans using CAD software, ensuring compliance with design specifications and building codes.

Duties & Responsibilites:

• Will assume the full responsibility of drafting and documentation of discipline-specific related works.

• Responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) to support construction and design projects

• Developing detailed 3D models, generating accurate drawings

• Ensuring designs comply with project specifications and industry standards.

Job Requirements:

Education: TVET Level 4 in Drafting Technology or in a related field of study

Experience: 2 - 5 years of working experience

Required Skills:

• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a larger team and able to make design decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way

• Excellent communication skills

• Wider knowledge of other disciplines highly desirable

• Capable of accurate work under pressure and able to work on several projects simultaneously

• Ability to assist other staff and BIM/Revit Technicians
