We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our logistics company. The Accountant will be responsible for analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Direct Reports to: Finance Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Asking for payment and collecting from credit customer.

• Prepare daily payment request and collection report.

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Assist in Preparing financial statements and reports.

• Assist with audits and tax filings.

• Provide support to other departments as needed

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance or in a related field of study with relevant work experience.

• Experience:  2 years of experience

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Peachtree accounting)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
