A Machine Technician is responsible for keeping production machinery running smoothly by performing maintenance, diagnosing issues, and repairing equipment. Below is a comprehensive job description based on current industry standards

Duties and Responsibilities:
Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery to reduce breakdowns and ensure efficient operation.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and minor electrical malfunctions in production equipment, using technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
Repairs: Conduct repairs on mechanical systems and components, replacing worn or damaged parts to minimize downtime.
Machine Setup: Set up and calibrate machinery prior to production cycles; adjust machine settings as needed.
