We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services while ensuring cost efficiency and quality. This role requires strong analytical skills, market research expertise, and the ability to maintain excellent relationships with suppliers to support the company's operational needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, and reputation.

• Analyze market and delivery systems to assess current and future material availability.

• Identify potential vendors through various sources to ensure adequate competition.

• Maintain and update a database of existing and potential suppliers.

• Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other relevant data to determine fair pricing.

• Oversee the preparation of purchase orders based on approved requisitions.

• Ensure all procurement requests follow company supply chain and financial guidelines.

• Ensure goods and supplies are procured and delivered according to quantity, quality, and specifications.

• Verify that all procured items are delivered to warehouses with proper documentation.

• Maintain strong communication between corporate and subsidiary offices for seamless procurement processes.

• Negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.

• Coordinate the issuance of purchase orders in compliance with company policies.

• Update records of purchased products regularly.

• Prepare reports on purchases and conduct cost analyses.

• Select reliable suppliers that offer quality products at cost-effective rates.

• Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with vendors.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study

• Experience: 2 - 3 years of working experience
