Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely test results

• Implement and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) programs.

• Train, supervise, and evaluate laboratory personnel.

• Develop and manage the laboratory budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

• Promote research initiatives and collaboration with academic institutions.

• Work closely with hospital administration, clinicians, and external regulatory bodies.

Job Requirements:

• Education: BSc in medical Laboratory technology from Government University only with cGPA > 3.00

• Experience: At least 3–5 years of experience in a clinical or hospital laboratory setting.

• Education: Master’s in Medical Laboratory Science, Microbiology, Clinical Pathology, Public Health, or Healthcare Administration (MHA, MPH, MBA)

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience, such as Laboratory Manager or Quality Assurance Manager

• Experience in clinical diagnostic testing, quality assurance, and laboratory accreditation.

• Language skills: Fluent in Amharic and English
