Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist the general manager in Planning, Organizing, leading and controlling different building renovation, interior decoration and finishing works.
Oversee ongoing projects to ensure that they are running as per the plan, within the budget parameters, and timelines.
Ensuring smooth communication and collaboration with vendors, clients, local government authorities, and other stakeholders.
Engage in problem solving for the daily issues that come up in the course of a project, ensuring that all tasks are carried out smoothly.
Be a part of the executive team and help in formulating strategies, making business decisions, evaluating the results.
Supervise and manage project teams, contractors, and subcontractors. Also, engage in hiring, training, and performance evaluation of staff.
Ensure the company's actions comply with relevant laws, regulations, standards, and policies. This includes safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
Prepare and provide regular performance and progress reports to the upper management or board of directors.
Job Requirements.
MSC or BSC from recognized University in Civil, Construction Technology and Management or other related fields.
Other Skills Good communication and managerial skills
Fluent in Amharic and English
Place of work: - Addis Ababa Head Office(Traveling to the project sites whenever necessary)
Experience:
For M.Sc 13 years work experience and for B.Sc 15 years related work experience out of which as least 6 years in similar Position in construction company.
