About the CADR Project:
The CADR project, funded by NORAD via Atlas Alliance and Youth Mental Health Norway, promotes the rights of people with disabilities in Ethiopia through human rights and advocacy for persons with disabilities, inclusive education, OPDs organizational development, and health and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities.
Bid Opportunity: Financial Consultant
NCO invites qualified financial consultants to submit bids for a 2025 consultancy to support the CADR project and organizational financial operations.
Scope of Work:
Training (7 days in 2025, continuous or on-demand): Coach Finance and program teams (Finance and Admin Manager, Officer, Program Director, Manager) to align administrative and program activities, fostering harmony.
Support Calls (10–15 times): Provide remote assistance to finance staff on project-related Peachtree coding and financial queries.
Examination Support: Develop and evaluate written, interview, and technical (Peachtree coding) exams for recruiting finance staff.
Deliverables: Submit technical and financial proposals, including a detailed work plan and budget.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance or in a related field of study
Expertise in Peachtree/Sage (including online versions) and QuickBooks (including online).
Advanced knowledge of Ethiopian NGO accounting regulations.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience
Experience in NGO project data encoding, analysis, budgeting, planning, and reporting.
ACCA certification is advantageous.
Strong training and communication skills in English and Amharic.
Willingness to work with people with disabilities and adhere to NCO’s vision, mission, and values.
