Job Description
This role is responsible for all contract interpretation, communication, preparation of contract and technical documents.
Duties & Responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring that they align with the organization's objectives and legal requirements.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external parties involved in contract agreements.
Resolving disputes or issues that may arise during the course of the contract relationship.
Identifying and assessing risks associated with contract agreements, including financial, legal, operational, and reputational risks.
Developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential threats to contract performance or organizational objectives.
Evaluating and refining contract management processes, tools, and procedures to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
Identifying lessons learned from past contract experiences and implementing best practices for future contract engagements.
Carry out instructions as directed by Senior Management & Co-Ordinate the Project requirements ensuring that the Project is delivered on time and in budget.
Understands and Manages Contract conditions and requirements (PPA, FIDIC, Time & Cost Claims)
Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
Carry out other duties and responsibilities, as required, and as requested by the other members of the management team
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study
Experience
Work experience 3 years and above
Working in similar role in a construction company specializing in Road and Bridge construction projects.
Required Skills
Candidate with International company experience will be given priority
Must be aligned, Commercially Aware, Honest and Shows high levels of Integrity.
