Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Designer to lead our design team and drive excellence in furniture innovation. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, artistic vision, and leadership to deliver designs that balance aesthetics, functionality, and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and optimize operational drawings for production.

• Develop, refine, and modify new design concepts to meet client and market demands.

• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering skill development and collaboration.

• Prepare and review bills of materials (BOMs) to optimize material usage and reduce waste.

• Ensure designs adhere to industry standards, client specifications, and cost-effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or in a related field of study

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in furniture design, with at least 3 years exclusively in furniture manufacturing design.

Required Skills:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.

• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of furniture design principles, production processes, and material optimization.

• Portfolio: Demonstrated ability to create accurate, aesthetically pleasing, and functional furniture designs.

• Leadership: Experience guiding junior team members and collaborating cross-functionally.
