We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Site Engineer with a focus on finishing works to oversee the day-to-day activities on our construction sites. The Site Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all civil engineering tasks are executed according to project specifications, within time and budget constraints, and in compliance with safety regulations. The role demands strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication to coordinate site operations and deliver high-quality results.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Site Supervision & Management:

• Supervise all civil engineering activities on-site, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all project requirements and local regulations.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that the work meets the required quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to confirm that materials and workmanship adhere to project specifications.

Project Coordination:

• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of tasks, resolving any site issues as they arise.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, safety inspections, and any deviations from the original plan. Submit regular reports to the project manager or senior engineer.

Material Management:

• Oversee the procurement and proper storage of materials, ensuring that all supplies meet quality standards and are available when needed to avoid delays.

Health & Safety Compliance:

• Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations on-site. Conduct site safety inspections and ensure all workers are following safety procedures and using proper protective equipment.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical support to the construction team, addressing any engineering-related issues or questions. Assist in solving complex engineering problems during construction.

Work Schedule Monitoring:

• Monitor and report on the progress of work according to the project schedule. Ensure that milestones are met and identify potential risks that could delay project completion.

Stakeholder Liaison:

• Maintain communication with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure expectations are aligned and address any concerns promptly.

Cost Management:

• Assist in controlling project costs, track expenditures, and monitor the budget. Help resolve any financial discrepancies or concerns related to civil engineering work.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in COTM, Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on construction site management. Experience in finishing works is a plus.

Required Skills:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.), as well as strong knowledge of civil construction techniques and materials.

Communication Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with a variety of stakeholders and write reports.

Problem-Solving Ability:

• Ability to analyze and address on-site challenges effectively and efficiently.

Attention to Detail:

• Strong attention to detail in all aspects of project execution, including quality control and documentation.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of teams, including contractors, suppliers, and project managers.
