Job Description

Senior HRM Officer is a professional who works in the human resources department of a company or an organization. An HR Officer is responsible for managing various aspects of the employment process, such as recruitment, hiring, training, performance, benefits, and employee relations. An HR Officer also supports the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, and ensures compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Salary: Based on Scale & Negotiable    

Computer skill: Mandatory for positions    

Place of work: Addis Ababa (Kality)

Collateral: All employees are required to submit a guarantee/collateral/ 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Recruit, select, and onboard qualified candidates for various roles across the company or the organisation

  • Maintain employee records and data according to policy and legal requirements

  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance

  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback and guidance to employees and managers

  • Facilitate responsibly the recruitment and placement process as per MOTI Engineering Company Human Resource Management policy and procedural manual requirement.

  • Receives and Register candidate’s application letter and documents, in accordance to requirement of announced position. 

  • Thoroughly evaluate different (online & on hand) applicants credentials and conduct filtration /screen/ and prepare candidates shortlist for further evaluation process.

  • Schedule interviews taking into account time management and team availability

  • Organize recruited employee’s documents from employment request to Final employment letter, including forms completed by candidate for personal File creation.  

  • Work to Ensures the monthly payroll inputs  are well-organized and on time salary payments

  • Maintain interview tracking database to track all candidates and develop candidate pool for future use,

  • Supervise staffs at working hours at their working places to ensure in-compliance of company’s code of conduct, dressing and being on the right office ethics.

  • Handles staff exit management and related activities, ensures exit interview is completed by departing staff and ensures that their clearance is complete;

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Human Resource Management,or in a related field of study including Knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws.

Experience

  • 4 years & above experience in a similar role
