A Maintenance Reliability Engineer focuses on improving the reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, and systems to minimize downtime and optimize performance. They develop and implement strategies to prevent failures, analyze root causes of issues, and create preventative maintenance plans.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programs based on data analysis and best practices. 

• Conducting root cause analysis (RCA) to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures and implementing corrective actions. 

• Reviewing and improving existing maintenance procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 

• Utilizing condition monitoring techniques to track equipment health and identify potential issues before they lead to failures. 

• Identifying and mitigating risks associated with equipment reliability and safety. 

• Analyzing data from various sources to identify trends, predict failures, and track the effectiveness of maintenance strategies. 

• Working closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on reliability goals and implementation of solutions. 

• Contributing to the ongoing improvement of maintenance processes and procedures. 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and/or chemical engineering principles, depending on the industry and equipment. 

• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve complex problems. 

• Proficiency in root cause analysis and developing effective solutions. 

• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering, or in related field of study with relevant work experience.

Experience:  2 years of relevant work experience in continuous process industries.
