A Site Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing construction projects on-site, ensuring that engineering plans and designs are accurately implemented. This role includes planning, supervising construction activities, coordinating with contractors and architects, managing schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes, and providing technical advice and problem-solving on site. Site Engineers also prepare reports on project progress, conduct inspections for quality control, and liaise with various stakeholders to keep the project on track.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily site activities, ensure technical compliance, and coordinate site resources.

• Acting as the main technical adviser on-site for subcontractors, craftsmen, and operatives.

• Surveying, setting out, and leveling the construction site to match engineering designs.

• Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy.

• Overseeing the selection, requisition, and cost-effective procurement of materials.

• Managing and interpreting contract design documents.

Job Requirements:

• Education: BSc in Civil Engineering or related field

• Experience: Minimum 6 years’ & above of site engineering experience

• Experience in high-rise building projects preferred
