Job Description
The manager business Development and engineering manager will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed according to design specifications, timelines, and budgets. This role involves close collaboration with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, construction management, and project follow-up, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

Project Planning and Design:
Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with design standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with architects, designers, and other engineers to develop and refine project designs.
Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and constraints.
Construction Management:
Oversee and manage construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Monitor construction progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
Project Follow-Up:
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the quality of workmanship and materials.
Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.
Maintain detailed records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Quality Control and Assurance:
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that construction meets design specifications and industry standards.
Conduct tests and inspections of materials and workmanship to verify compliance with project requirements.
Address any non-conformities and implement corrective actions as needed.
Cost Management:
Monitor project expenditures and ensure that costs are kept within budget.
Review and approve contractor invoices and change orders.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
Communication and Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
Facilitate regular meetings with project stakeholders to discuss progress, issues, and resolutions.
Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PE license) are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction management and project follow-up, preferably in large-scale projects.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
