Job Description

This position is for a sister company, Garden Hills Hotel formerly known as Tegen Guest Accomodation Hotel . It typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in finance, including at least 2 years in the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of financial systems (Peach Tree and CNET Software), budgeting, and forecasting, as well as proficiency in accounting software and Excel are also essential. Additionally, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are crucial, along with excellent communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all aspects of the hotel's financial operations.

  • Ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Managing financial resources efficiently.

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

  • Analyzing financial performance and making recommendations for improvement.

  • Working with other departments to achieve financial goals.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance, Accounting and Control or in a related field of study

  • Expereince: 5 years of working experience

Skills & Competencies:

  • Financial Systems: Strong understanding of financial systems, budgeting, and forecasting. 

  • Accounting Software: Proficiency in Peachtree and CNET is essential. 

  • Excel: Advanced Excel skills are a must. 

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are required. 

  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important. 

  • Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of hotel operations and the hospitality industry is crucial. 

  • Commercial Acumen: The ability to understand and contribute to the financial and commercial goals of the hotel.
