The Section Manager oversees the execution of a designated section within a road construction project, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost control. This role bridges field operations, engineering coordination, and stakeholder communication to drive successful project outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead daily operations for assigned road section, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to maintain workflow efficiency.
Monitor progress against schedule and proactively address delays or resource bottlenecks.
Enforce quality control standards and conduct inspections in collaboration with QA/QC teams.
Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
Manage labor, equipment, and material allocation for optimal productivity.
Track section-level expenditures and support cost-saving initiatives.
Validate subcontractor invoices and material requisitions.
Liaise with consultants, client representatives, and internal departments for approvals and reporting.
Prepare and present section progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
