Job Description

Knowledge, Skills, Competence:

  • Proven working experience as a Project Manager.

  • Solid understanding of project process groups and knowledge areas.

  • Excellent Project Management software user.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Strong follow-up skills.

  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.

  • Work with Strategic Initiative Director in tracking progress and reporting.

  • Include both internal and external stakeholders in the project plan.

  • Organize, schedule, and maintain internal and external resources.

  • Ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and project costs.

  • Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for executive staff.

  • Leverage existing internal resources in project implementation.

  • Manage suppliers and service providers.

  • Provide support to implementers in problem-solving.

  • Work with the legal department to fulfill and update all legal requirements (permits) during project implementation.

  • Set up team and legal documentation (licensing) for takeover after implementation is completed.

  • Support the director of the strategic project with data gathering and analysis.

  • Plan a project site visit and write a report about the journey.

  • Collaborate with the team on feasibility studies and business strategy for new or expanded ideas.

  • Work on new or expansion ideas.

  • Apply for loans and follow up on the loan status with a bank.

  • Work on marketing set-up projects at the corporate level.

  • Attend the strategic initiative meeting and take charge of taking minutes.

  • Ensure that all business unit strategic initiative discussions are conducted in accordance with the schedule.

  • Follow up with team members on tasks assigned to them at the strategic initiative meeting.

  • Ensure everyone is in agreement with the meeting schedule and distribute the minutes of the strategic initiative meeting on time.

  • Work on tasks given by the director and other reporting managers.

  • Strategic planning.

Job Requirements:

  • MS or BS degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager.
