Job Description
This position is for a Talent Acquisition and Training Development Officer at Minaye P.L.C. The officer will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding top-tier talent while designing and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
The role requires proven HR experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and in-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
Develop and implement strategic talent acquisition plans to attract high-quality candidates.
Source and screen potential candidates through various channels (e.g., job boards, social media, referrals).
Conduct interviews and coordinate hiring processes with hiring managers.
Follow up on probation periods and evaluate employees in collaboration with their line managers.
Conduct skills gap assessments and recommend training programs.
Identify and recruit talented individuals.
Partner with governmental or non-governmental teaching institutions for short-term training agreements.
Consult with all departments to assess manpower needs and support the formation of new departments through market assessments.
Conduct monthly motivational training sessions for all employees.
Collaborate with team leaders to identify training needs and develop customized training programs.
Create training materials, manuals, and resources to support employee development.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessments.
Manage onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Monitor employee performance and identify opportunities for further training and development.
Provide guidance to employees facing behavioral or cultural challenges.
Ensure adherence to company culture, policies, and procedures.
Perform tasks assigned by the immediate manager.
The officer has the authority to:
Set recruitment strategies and manage hiring processes.
Design and implement training programs.
Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
Make decisions related to talent development initiatives.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: At least two years of proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR officer roles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in designing and facilitating training programs.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
HR or training development certification is a plus.
