Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The Cashier will handle cash, credit, and check transactions. This role requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: As per the company scale
Greet customers in a professional manner
Process transactions, and provide accurate pricing information
Accept payments in the form of cash, or checks
Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers as needed
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Resolve customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner
Balance cash register at the end of the day and report any discrepancies
Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
High school diploma or degree in accounting or related field.
1-3 years of experience in similar role.
Proven experience in a cashier role especially in a logistics company is preferred
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
