Responsible for managing parts of the constructed road project, providing technical advice to subcontractors if assigned, supervising staff on site and ensuring that their package the potential candidate should have experience in Road Projects as a Site Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To carry out the work orders given by the immediate superiors within the set time limit and quality.

• Supervise the surveying, leveling and setting out work on the site.

• Inform the construction engineer and contract management department when there is a problem in calculating and considering the correct amount of work according to the design.

• Considering the quality of the resources used for work in terms of the specification

• Ensuring the correctness of the required inputs in terms of specification and quantity.

• Providing solutions to sub-contractors, suppliers and subordinates who are directly involved in work when they face technical problems at work and if it is beyond their ability, inform the immediate superior.

• Follow up the implementation of the quality control procedure set on the project.

• Assisting and monitoring junior engineering professionals and professionals assigned to internships.

• To create a good relationship with the local community. 

• Evaluate each work activity

• Preparation of performance reports and communication to concerned parties.

• Monitor the timely entry of requested resources on the site and inform the relevant party in case of supply problems.

• Organize the subordinates and promote them to work together.

• Monitoring that the work is being done according to the design and specification. 

• Preparation and implementation of internal work plan.

• Coordinating and using the allocated resources.

• When the Construction/Project Engineer is not available, he will perform the work of the Construction/Project Engineer.

• Based on the main schedule of the project, prepare weekly and daily schedule, approve and give it to the implementing body.

• Preparing the input schedule for the scheduled program and ensuring that it is requested on time and entered on the site.

• To request and monitor the necessary test/inspection in the laboratory or on site

Job Requirements:

• Education: Education Background in a related field of study with relevant work experience

• Experience: 4 years
