Job Description

Ahununu Express Service, is a full-fledged logistics set up currently operating in more than 20 regions of Ethiopia. We provide an express airmail courier and road transport service offerings to different businesses, individuals and corporate clients for the last six years.

Fleet dispatchers are responsible for coordinating the movement of vehicles and cargo throughout their company’s fleet. They work with drivers, managers, and other staff to ensure that everything runs smoothly from beginning to end.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with drivers about their current location, estimated time of arrival at the next destination, and any delays that may occur

  • Monitoring traffic patterns and adjusting dispatch routes as needed to ensure efficient delivery of goods

  • Coordinating with local law enforcement regarding traffic conditions during high-traffic times such as rush hour

  • Maintaining company vehicle fleets by performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and replacing filters

  • Maintaining records for all shipments, including pickup and delivery times and locations, shipping methods, and carriers used

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics Management or in a related field of study

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of working experience
