Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our team. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the growth and efficiency of our logistics operations.
Direct reports to: Deputy CEO

1. Financial Planning Analysis:
Develop and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts.
Analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to drive business performance.
2. Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Ensure timely reporting of financial results to the management.
3. Cost Management:
Analyze costs associated with logistics operations and identify areas for cost reduction.
Implement cost control measures and monitor their effectiveness.
Collaborate with operations teams to optimize resource allocation.
4. Compliance Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Manage audits and liaise with external auditors.
Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
5. Cash Flow Management:
Oversee cash flow management to ensure liquidity for operations.
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
Develop cash flow forecasts and monitor actual cash flow against projections.
6. Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Promote collaboration between finance and other departments.
7. Strategic Financial Initiatives:
Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Support mergers, acquisitions, from a financial perspective.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of (8) years of experience in finance management, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry from which at least (2) years in managerial position..
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in financial software; advanced Excel skills required.
Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a finance team.
