We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services, ensuring cost efficiency and quality.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, and reliability.

• Analyze market trends and delivery systems to assess material availability.

• Identify potential vendors to ensure healthy competition.

• Maintain and update a database of existing and potential suppliers.

• Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and market data to determine fair pricing.

• Oversee the preparation and issuance of purchase orders in compliance with company policies.

• Ensure goods are procured and delivered as per specifications and requirements.

• Verify that all procured items are delivered with proper documentation.

• Maintain strong communication between corporate and subsidiary offices for seamless procurement processes.

• Negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.

• Conduct cost analysis and prepare reports on purchases.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Purchasing or in a related field of study

• Experience: 2 - 3 years of working experience

• Additional Requirement: A valid driving license is a must, preferably with experience in truck spare parts procurement.
