Job Description

We are seeking a Sales person to join our expanding team at our retail stores. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales, customer service, and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will play a crucial role in promoting our products, assisting customers, and achieving sales targets while ensuring that the store runs smoothly and maintains its high standards of presentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service:

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide recommendations to drive sales.

  • Demonstrate and explain the features and benefits of products, ensuring customers make informed purchase decisions.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues in a professional and timely manner.

  • Meet and exceed sales targets by utilizing effective sales techniques, upselling, and cross-selling.

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all products and promotions in the store to provide accurate information to customers.

Store Presentation & Inventory:

  • Ensure the store is well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing at all times.

  • Assist in organizing product displays and ensure that all products are presented attractively to encourage sales.

  • Keep the sales floor organized, ensuring that products are easy for customers to locate and browse.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other sales associates and the store manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and a cohesive sales approach.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to improve sales performance and store efficiency.

  • Assist in training new staff, sharing product knowledge and best sales practices.

Sales Reporting & Targets:

  • Assist in tracking sales performance and achieving individual and team sales targets.

  • Maintain records of customer interactions and sales activities, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.

  • Provide feedback to management on customer preferences, trends, and areas for improvement.

Customer Experience:

  • Create a welcoming and friendly environment for customers, ensuring they feel valued and have an enjoyable shopping experience.

  • Handle customer complaints professionally, escalating issues to management if necessary.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest product offerings, promotions, and industry trends to provide the best possible service.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Marketing, Business, Accounting or related field or diploma

  • Experience: 3 years of proven experience in retail sales, ideally in electronics or a similar consumer goods industry.

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the to build relationships.

  • Goal-oriented with a passion for sales and achieving targets.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

  • Basic understanding of inventory management and store operations.

  • Flexible schedule and availability to work weekends or evenings if required.
